ASME
Student Design Competition |
 |
The Florida West Coast Section, ASME Student Design
Competition, now in its twentieth year, is designed to
promote and enhanced understanding and appreciation of
science, and the practical application of engineering
principals among our community’s high school students.
The competition should encourage students to follow a
path of education to future jobs as scientists and
engineers.
|
|
High
school students from Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and
Manatee counties are invited to participate in the
competition, for awards and recognition by our Florida
West Coast Section. Teams of three to five students,
with a maximum of three teams per school will be
challenged with a mystery design project which will be
tested to determine the contest winners. Teams will be
judged on their projects design, completion, report, and
drawings.
